This collection captures the framework mid-evolution — between the stable v1.1 release and the v2 proposals that have not yet landed. Anyone studying WaterStorage should read this snapshot to see what the system looked like when the conversations were fresh.

The Ten Phase States (v1.1)

What changed from v1.0 → v1.1

• Streamlines phase added — the many-body hydrodynamic layer from Wajnryb, Szymczak & Cichocki (2004). Power-law memory.
• Conservation Law expanded — Rule 5: memory is a property of the medium, not the particles.
• Rule 7 added — many-body long-time tail is non-negotiable for distributed systems.

v1.2 (pulse 65) added Rule 8 — the Landauer thermodynamic floor. The bill is paid only at the streamlines. See Wajnryb source PDF and the Landauer-Boltzmann substrate note referenced in the framework.

The v1.1 framework is 9 phases + the streamline hydrodynamic layer. v1.2 added Rule 8. The two most distinctive claims: (1) memory is in the medium, not the nodes; (2) the Landauer cost is paid only at the streamlines, where the medium meets the boundary.
