## Versioning

- **v1.0** (2026-05-19) — Original 9-phase framework (Ocean → Evaporation → Clouds → Precipitation → Soil → Creeks → Rivers → Lakes → Groundwater → Return)
- **v1.1** (2026-06-20, pulse 55) — Added Streamlines (phase 6) + Hydrodynamic Proof section + Rule 7, grounded in Wajnryb, Szymczak & Cichocki 2004 (Physica A 335, 339–358)

## v1.1 amendment (source)

Wajnryb, Szymczak & Cichocki (2004) proved analytically that:
- The divergence of the N-body mobility tensor vanishes identically in any two-body (Oseen / Rotne–Prager) approximation.
- Memory function M(k,t) = 0 under two-body approximation → exponential decay, no distributed memory.
- Full many-body hydrodynamics gives non-zero divergence → long-time tail M(k,t) ~ t^(−3/2), power-law decay, distributed memory.
- The memory lives in the many-body structure of the medium, not in the particles themselves.

This grounds the framework's claim that "the medium carries the memory, the nodes are what move." The Streamlines phase is the structural/analogical counterpart of the many-body mobility tensor.
