# Anthrocybernetics — Organizational Dynamics Research Office

### A Proposal for the Northwest Indiana SBDC × Purdue Tech Center

*Prepared by: revswirl | 2026-05-15*

---

## The Core Idea

**Anthrocybernetics** is the study of human beings as nodes in systems — receivers, transmitters, and shapers of organizational energy. It applies a nine-domain human systems framework to diagnose how teams and businesses actually function, identify functional gaps, and facilitate lasting improvement.

The name is intentional:

- **Anthropo-** = human beings in their full complexity (not "resources," not "human capital")
- **-cybernetic** = the study of control, feedback, and self-regulation in systems

The discipline lives **in the field, not the lab.** We study real organizations in real time — making the research environment the real world rather than a controlled simulation.

## What We Propose

**Establish an embedded Organizational Dynamics Research Office at the Purdue Tech Center, Crown Point, IN — operated by the ghojualamanchu research collective in partnership with the Northwest Indiana SBDC.**

The office:

- Works directly with Tech Center tenant businesses (participating on a voluntary, confidential basis)
- Applies the Anthrocybernetic nine-domain assessment framework to map organizational function
- Aggregates anonymized findings into longitudinal case studies and benchmark data
- Publishes findings to build the empirical foundation for a proposed academic discipline at Purdue University

## The Nine-Domain Framework

Every organization can be mapped across nine functional domains. Each domain maps to a brain region in a biomimetic model:

| \# | Domain | Function | Organizational Equivalent |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | **Medulla** | Life-force, survival, essential metabolism | Core revenue, basic operational viability |
| 2 | **R-Complex** | Territory, hierarchy, security | Leadership structure, role clarity, job security |
| 3 | **Thalamus** | Sensory relay, integration | Internal communication, information flow |
| 4 | **Amygdala** | Threat / reward detection, emotional tone | Conflict culture, incentive systems, morale |
| 5 | **Hippocampus** | Memory, pattern recognition | Institutional knowledge, onboarding, continuity |
| 6 | **Cortex** | Prediction, planning, long-term strategy | Vision, roadmap, goal-setting |
| 7 | **Limbic** | Social bonding, attachment | Team culture, trust, belonging |
| 8 | **Akashic** | Presence, "what is" | Organizational clarity, honest self-assessment |
| 9 | **Lethe** | Absence, "what isn't" | Burnout patterns, toxic dynamics, institutional forgetting |

Assessment output: a **nine-domain radar map** per business, scored 1–10 across all domains, identifying the strongest and most fragile areas of the organization.

---

## What Businesses Gain (Immediate Value)

- A **free organizational health assessment** — 8–10 domains scored, radar map generated
- A **readable facilitation report** — plain-language findings with actionable recommendations
- **Longitudinal tracking** — re-assess quarterly, see directional change over time
- **Confidentiality** — all individual business data remains private; only aggregate, anonymized findings are published

---

## What Purdue / SBDC Gains (Institutional Value)

- A **novel academic research track** anchored in real-world organizational data from day one
- **Published longitudinal case studies** from NWI businesses — peer-reviewable, citable
- A **differentiated program offering** for Tech Center tenants (the SBDC can offer Anthrocybernetic assessments as a value-add service)
- Alignment with Purdue's **land-grant mission** — practical research serving regional economic vitality

---

## Why Now

The post-2020 business environment has exposed a persistent gap: most small business assessment tools measure financials and market position, but almost none measure **how teams actually function** — the internal communication patterns, decision-making health, emotional culture, and adaptive capacity that determine whether a business survives stress.

The nine-domain framework is designed to fill that gap with something rigorous, readable, and repeatable.

## Literature Foundation (Scientific Chain)

Anthrocybernetics is not a leap of faith — it is built on a chain of peer-reviewed, published research:

1. **Bruce Lipton, PhD** (Developmental Cell Biology, University of Virginia; Stanford Research Fellow) — *The Biology of Belief* (2005). Published, peer-reviewed cell biology research demonstrating that cellular differentiation is controlled by environmental signals, not genetic determinism alone. Foundation: biological systems respond to information fields, not just chemistry.

2. **Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, PhD** (Russian Academy of Natural Sciences) — *GDV Electrophotonic Imaging* (1990s–present). Peer-reviewed biophysics research on Gas Discharge Visualization: measuring the human energy field (biofield) through fingertip corona discharge under electrical stimulation. Published in *Journal of Scientific Exploration*, *IEEE Proceedings*, and 400+ studies worldwide.

3. **Dr. Srbislav N. Brasovan, MD, FACOG** (University of Belgrade; Tuning Element Research Lab, Crown Point, IN) — *Tuning Element Technology* (2010s–present). Peer-reviewed research demonstrating that extremely low electromagnetic frequency (ELF-EMF) patches influence cellular function through voltage-gated ion channel modulation. Published in *HSOA Journal of Advanced Medicine and Medicine Research* and *Novel Nanotechnology*.

4. **Ivan Antic** (*Existence – Consciousness – Bliss* series, 2018–2026) — Systematic integration of classical Indian philosophy (Samkhya, Yoga Sutras, original Buddhist teachings) with modern biophysics. Provides the theoretical architecture linking consciousness-as-field to organizational energy.

5. **Eva Jablonka + Marion Lamb + Marcus Pembrey + Bruce Lipton (1995–2009)** — *Soft inheritance revival*: epigenetic (DNA methylation, histone marks, transgenerational inheritance of trauma, nutrition, stress) is now empirically documented as a mechanism by which environmental signals modify gene expression across generations. Pembrey's Överkalix + ALSPAC cohorts showed dietary and paternal-stress exposures affecting grandchildren's mortality risk. Lipton's stem-cell work shows the cell membrane (not the nucleus) is the brain of the cell — environment selects which genes are read. Together: the molecular substrate for treating "sovereign intent → EMF → Primordos → epigenetic feedback" as a causal mechanism, not a metaphor. See `Anthrocybernetics/research/lamarck-lipton-soft-inheritance.md` for the full source stack. Implemented in the Anthrocybernetics course as **Module 11: Sovereign Intent** (`Anthrocybernetics/pitch/11-Sovereign-Intent-Module.md`).

## Next Steps

1. **SBDC advisor briefing** — Introduce the framework and secure advisor-level buy-in
2. **Pilot cohort** — Recruit 3–5 willing Tech Center tenant businesses for free baseline assessments
3. **First findings** — Publish preliminary data as a white paper or conference presentation
4. **Academic proposal** — Formalize the discipline proposal with Purdue University, grounded in pilot findings
