# One-Page Printable Checklist

## Before leaving
- [ ] Meter calibrated or checked
- [ ] Battery charged
- [ ] Timestamping on
- [ ] GPS / location notes ready
- [ ] Route and site list loaded
- [ ] Weather checked
- [ ] Permissions confirmed where needed

## In the field
- [ ] Record date, time, and site name
- [ ] Note exact location or address
- [ ] Log meter type and setting
- [ ] Record sampling interval and whether the reading is a TWA, rolling max, or brief-peak screen
- [ ] Capture reading plus units
- [ ] Note duration of sample
- [ ] Record weather and nearby source
- [ ] If the stop is utility-adjacent, log source_state, construction_context, workzone_location, access_method, and whether any AMI / active work is visible
- [ ] If the same hotspot keeps repeating, do one waveform-characterization spot with a waveform-capable meter and keep it separate from the ordinary ELF spot reading
- [ ] Write down the waveform meter model and usable frequency range for that follow-up
- [ ] If the stop is in the Hobart Marsh NIPSCO ROW or the Grand Calumet / East Chicago cleanup corridor, note corridor context, managed corridor context, and cleanup subarea separately from exposure
- [ ] If access is limited, note the constraint separately from the reading
- [ ] Write down anything weird or unexpected

## After the session
- [ ] Save raw notes immediately
- [ ] Back up photos or screenshots
- [ ] Mark any suspect readings for review
- [ ] Separate observation from inference
- [ ] Check whether the session matches the protocol

## Stop / expand rule
- [ ] Repeatable pattern found
- [ ] Corridor vs control difference visible
- [ ] Second pass looks similar
- [ ] Team can explain the result without hand-waving
