# Anthrocybernetics V3 Build SOP

**Status:** Approved working SOP
**Date:** 2026-07-19
**Purpose:** Build a public, beginner-readable V3 foundation that consolidates Anthrocybernetics V1/V2 and adds the cosmic-weather extension.

## 1. Product definition

V3 is a public reference folder, not a private research scratchpad. A first-time reader should be able to understand:

1. what Anthrocybernetics is;
2. what the five fields mean;
3. how V2 added oscillators, Cascade, and energy-budget practice;
4. how cosmic weather extends the framework across five nested climate segments;
5. which statements are established, testable, or speculative;
6. how to begin using the discipline without confusing metaphor for measurement.

## 2. Source hierarchy

Use these sources in descending priority:

1. The current V2 folder in `unpacked/anthrocybernetics-foundation-v2/` for the active framework, terminology, and evidence discipline.
2. The V1 Five-Field Framework supplied at `https://zo.pub/wholewheat/anthrocybernetics-foundation-v1/five-field-framework.md` for the canonical Phase / Field / Arc / Form / Lattice definitions and cycles.
3. The attached `Fractal Helio-Climatic Systems` PDF for the cosmic-weather concept and its five nested climate segments.
4. The prior analysis of the PDF in this conversation for corrections, caveats, and integration logic.

V3 must not silently import unsupported claims from any source.

## 3. Epistemic standard

Every major claim must be assigned one of three labels:

- **Established / grounded:** supported by mainstream physical, biological, ecological, or systems research.
- **Working hypothesis:** plausible and testable, but not established by the supplied material.
- **Interpretive / speculative:** analogy, metaphysical extension, or practice language; useful only when explicitly labeled.

Do not present nested systems as automatically fractal. Use “fractal” technically only when referring to measured self-similarity, scaling, power-law behavior, or multifractal statistics. Otherwise use “nested,” “multiscale,” or “scale-analogous.”

Do not present “energy” in the relational protocol as literal physiological energy. Retain V2’s caveat: it is a functional budget metaphor and protocol commitment unless separately operationalized.

## 4. V3 conceptual architecture

V3 will use two axes:

### Five diagnostic fields

- **Phase:** coordination and timing among coupled oscillators.
- **Field:** surrounding conditions and external forcing.
- **Arc:** threshold crossing, discharge, transition, or transformation.
- **Form:** persistent pattern or configuration.
- **Lattice:** topology that filters and propagates energy, matter, or information.

### Five cosmic-weather segments

1. Galactic macroclimate
2. Local interstellar mesoclimate
3. Stellar / astrospheric climate
4. Planetary climate
5. Ecosystem and soil sub-microclimate

These are five questions applied at five scales, producing a 5 × 5 diagnostic matrix. They are not five claims that all systems obey identical physics.

## 5. Required deliverables

The folder must contain:

- `README.md` — orientation, scope, reading order, epistemic status, and file index.
- `index.html` — a polished beginner-facing overview linking the major documents.
- `five-field-framework.md` — V3 revision of the five fields and system cycles.
- `cosmic-weather-extension.md` — the complete five-segment × five-field integration.
- `oscillator-and-coherence.md` — V2 oscillator model, its mechanism, limits, and honest-vs-functional distinction.
- `cascade-and-energy-budget.md` — current Cascade substrate and Daily Three protocol, with metaphor caveats.
- `evidence-and-boundaries.md` — claim tiers, what is grounded, what is testable, and what is speculative.
- `practice-and-observation.md` — beginner-safe observation protocol and non-therapeutic usage guidance.
- `CHANGELOG.md` — V1 → V2 → V3 changes and open questions.
- `sources/README.md` — source map and provenance; no claim should appear source-free when attribution is needed.

Optional supporting material may be added only if it improves comprehension or auditability.

## 6. Build sequence

### Segment A — Foundation

Write `README.md`, `five-field-framework.md`, and `CHANGELOG.md`. Confirm that V1 vocabulary is preserved and V2 changes are represented accurately.

### Segment B — Cosmic weather

Write `cosmic-weather-extension.md`. Include the 5 × 5 matrix, cross-scale progression, field-by-field explanations, causal pathway discipline, and explicit corrections to the supplied PDF.

### Segment C — Operations

Write `oscillator-and-coherence.md`, `cascade-and-energy-budget.md`, and `practice-and-observation.md`. Preserve V2’s Daily Three, dynamic capacity framing, R0 sovereignty, asymmetric-zeta caveat, and functional-metaphor warning.

### Segment D — Evidence and presentation

Write `evidence-and-boundaries.md`, `sources/README.md`, and `index.html`. Ensure a new reader can start with the HTML page and reach the technical material without prior context.

### Segment E — QA and publish

Run structural checks, inspect all links, check HTML validity heuristically, confirm no accidental secrets or unrelated files, sync with `zopub`, and report the public URL.

## 7. Writing rules

- Explain specialized terms on first use.
- Prefer “coupling,” “forcing,” “threshold,” “boundary,” “scaling,” and “topology” over vague universal connectedness.
- Separate physical claims, systems analogies, and metaphysical interpretations.
- Do not claim that galaxies, planets, ecosystems, or people are literally identical oscillators.
- Do not claim cosmic weather directly controls soil or human states without a specified mechanism and evidence.
- Keep the tone welcoming, direct, and intellectually adventurous without overselling.
- Avoid comments in code unless necessary; the HTML should remain readable.

## 8. QA checklist

- [ ] V2’s ⤫ co-arising foundation is retained.
- [ ] Five fields and both cycles are explained.
- [ ] V2 oscillator model is included with ω, A, φ, and ζ defined.
- [ ] Symmetric ζ is labeled as a deliberate simplification.
- [ ] “Energy” caveat is explicit.
- [ ] Cascade is presented as dynamic and energy-budget-dependent, not Dunbar-bounded.
- [ ] Cosmic weather is organized into five segments and five fields.
- [ ] The PDF’s broken recurrence equation is not copied as if valid.
- [ ] The 10-parsec “stellar climate band” claim is labeled a hypothesis, not a fact.
- [ ] Fractal terminology is constrained to measured scaling or clearly labeled analogy.
- [ ] A beginner can navigate from `index.html` to every core document.
- [ ] The folder contains only intended deliverables and source notes.
- [ ] `zopub sync anthrocybernetics-v3 /home/workspace/anthrocybernetics-v3` completes successfully.

## 9. Definition of done

The build is complete when the folder is coherent for a first-time reader, technically honest about its evidence, internally consistent with V2, includes the cosmic-weather addition as an explicit extension rather than a replacement, passes the QA checklist, and is live at the reported zo.pub URL.
